Such a lovely spot! We were a group of 15 and they handled are large group just great. We had a mix of some appetizers and entrees and everyone found something they enjoyed.

Food was amazing. Just phenomenal. Reservations are encouraged. Service was a little weak. Main waiter kept forgetting small requests. Outside seating was better than expected.

The food we had was awesome. The service we received was less than spectacular. The lamb shank and lamb ravioli were great. The waitress ran over to our table and in a rush said, "the specials are on the board". She pointed to a board on the wall across from us and RAN off without saying anything more. She came back and said, "Hi. What do you want?" She didn't even make eye contact with us. She took my wife's order then looked over her shoulder and said to me, "what do you want?" I placed my order and she rushed off without saying anything. She didn't refill our water or wine during our meal. To me, food is only half of the equation. Good service makes a great experience.

We love Riviera! The family who owns it are wonderful humans and great chefs, too. This is true, northern Italian food. Recco, Italy, near Genoa, is where the owners come from. Try the cold calamari salad, it's unique and tasty! Of course, their fried calamari is great, too. Every time we go, the waitstaff are professional and remember us and treat us like family. All of them are such nice people. The outdoor dining setup is one of the best around since Covid. If you seek a romantic atmosphere, you'll find it here. Personally, I tend to order their daily fish special. Usually salmon or petrale sole. No one prepares fish better in Santa Rosa. The pastas are fresh and delicious, too. all backed by a wonderful wine list composed of affordable Italian and CA wines. Go here - you won't regret your dining dollars spent here.

What a phenomenal place to enjoy excellent food and good company! The owners and their staff are great people who take great care in serving their customers. I had a dinner with some co-workers and it was great! We started with the absolute best appetizers ever! The calamari was excellent but the bruschetta was off the hook!! Best I’ve ever had. For dinner we had some chicken, pork, salmon and I had the risotto with lobster! It was soooooo good! Highly recommend this place. I drove an hour and a half to be there and I would do it again!

Recently went with some friends and had the most phenomenal gluten-free carbonara I've ever had in my entire life, and 10/10 limoncello sorbet. Highly recommend the bolognese as well. Amazing customer service and cozy outdoor seating with heaters. Will have to take my family here to try for themselves!

Randomly picked Riviera Ristorante because I was craving some Italian food and Marin Joe's was too far away. Very happy with our choice. We didn't have reservations s and they found us a table anyway. Staff was awesome. Louisa "Lu" took great care of us. Highly recommend this place!

Wow! My partner and I came and had dinner at 8:30 on Father's Day and had the best time! We are in our 20s and are not parents, but it was our weekend. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and genuine. You can tell it was a family restaurant, which is typical for Italian restaurants, but it was on a whole other level. Every staff member we had interactions with was so welcoming and warm. The owner was an absolute sweet heart. The food and atmosphere was amazing. We had the absolute best time after a very long Father's Day at work. It was a wonderful way to relax after working such a crazy service, and we truly felt welcomed! If I could give a higher review than 5 stars, I absolutely would. I had a delicious salad and the polenta, as I wasn't very hungry, but the polenta was absolutely amazing. I only took a picture of the polenta, but as ypu can see it was gorgeous.
